ntuples

Hi,
I get from time to time strange and rather hard to reproduce effect in
histogram filling from ntuples with many cuts, to given number of
cuts processing is slow and I get nonzero entries per cut set but after
adding additional cut filling is very fast and produces zero entries and
I know that additional cut cannot remove all remaining entries, so
here is my question - is there any limit on number of cuts in ntuples ?
