Hi

I have probles with the command line editing in root
( v1.03/08 on Digital Unix 3.2) :

In an xterm window the arrow keys do not correspond
to ^p ^n ^b and ^f and the tab key does not
give command line completion.

The manual says that on DOS and ANSI terminals the arrow keys
should act as the corresponding emacs key bindings. ( page 23 of
ROOT overview ) What needs to be set that this features are
activated in an xterm window ?

The information given on the tab key function
on the same page is not very helpful either :

" can be rebound by the programmer as described below ... ".

It is not clear to me where this 'below' refers to !?

Thanks for your advice !
