Shelving location

• Library on the 1st floor, RCNP main building (International Journals/Magazines, Proceedings, Japanese Magazines, Books, Annual Reports etc.)
• Shelf at the open space on the 6th floor, RCNP main building (Newly-arrived Magazines etc.)

Checkout/Return


The RCNP library is always locked with a fingerprint authentication system. Ouside users (members of Osaka University only) who hope to check out a book is requested to contact the following e-mail address:

Checkout

Journals/Magazines

All books and magazines are located in the library on the 1st floor, in alphabetical order.
All journals and magazines are prohibited for home use.


Books

1. Please find the book that you want to check out with the RCNP books online search.

2. When you have a hit with "RCNP　Call No: alphabet(s)-#-#" (e.g. "RCNP Call　No: A-100-1"), the book is in the library. The alphabet means classification.

3. When you find the book in the library, fill in the checkout card, insert it in the shelf dummy of green colored, and put the shelf dummy at the place where you found the book.

NOTE: Please put your group and phone number (extension) on the checkout card.

Return

1. Please return the book you checked out to the original position.

2. Remove the checkout card from the shelf dummy, fill in the return data, and put the card in the card collection box.
