In June 1996 the LeCroy 4291 drift chamber TDCs for the VDCs of the
Spectrometer 'Grand Raiden'
were replaced by the LeCroy 3377 drift chamber TDCs, which
have a low conversion time and a high speed ECL data port for faster
readout. It also required a replacement of the CAMAC based data bus
interface LeCroy 4299 with a VME based High Speed Memory CES 8170.
