Abstract
The role of diquark correlations in hadron structure has been discussed for some time. Recently, the interest has been renewed in the context of exotic multi-quark hadrons such as pentaquarks and tetraquarks, The significanc of the diquark structure is also discussed in the structure functions of the nucleon. In this one-day workshop, we discuss aspects of the diquark correlations to figure out its implications on hadron structure. We also discuss the role of the chiral symmetry in the microscopic description of the hadrons.
