Center for International Education and Exchange (CIEE)

The Center for International Education and Exchange CIEE was established in order to play a crucial role in the planning and operation of education and research-based international exchange at Osaka University, to encourage greater numbers of international students to enroll in the University, and to help more Osaka University students take part in programs overseas.

The Center is comprised of specialist teams for Japanese language education and research, Intercultural and advising research team, and for short-term exchange program development. The Center is also dedicated to improving Japanese language education and to providing support for the implementation of short-term exchange programs at all levels and throughout all departments, whether they be accepting international students or sending Osaka University students overseas.

The Center also includes The Support Office, in order to better serve the rapidly increasing number of international students.
