Intensive Programs
Osaka University offers a couple of 2-3 week courses, for those who wish to study something substantial at Osaka, such as Japanese language or one of the world leading fields of Osaka University, nanotechnology. As for February 2010, there are exciting and specific programs designed for those who wish to learn Japanese culture and technology. Students can take one of the two programs: the Cutting-edge Nanotechnology program, and the Japanese Language & Culture program. Program-related excursions will provide participants with opportunities to experience Japanese traditional culture and high-tech companies in Kyoto.
Program Merits
Osaka University is ready to offer new type short-programs (10dadys-3months), in accordance with the demands or request of foreign institutions. We are, now, quite positive to create semi-tailor made type programs. The 2010 Programs are designed for some specific students.
Program Participants
With respect to the 2010 Spring Program, applicants should be second year undergraduate students or above. All applicants need a high level of English proficiency for the program equivalent to a TOEFL score of about IBT 80. According to the individual program design, qualifications can be more flexible.
