Scholarships and Financial Aid

The IPC does not provide scholarships directly, but there are several options to get financial support. The most commonly used are the G30 MEXT** and the Osaka University scholarships, for which a separate application has to be made, after admission to the IPC. The tables below show the amounts of scholarships and expenses (in Japanese yen) relative to the students accepted for the next academic year.

Many graduate students also complement their income by working as research assistants or teaching assistants at Osaka University (up to 100,000 yen/month).
