Research

We study the flavor SU(3) hadron dynamics and baryon resonances, using an effective theory based on chiral symmetry of QCD. We utilize the chiral unitary model in order to investigate the meson-baryon scatterings and properties of the baryon resonances. Several practical reactions are calculated with the phenomenological effective Lagrangians. We also study the exotic pentaquark particle Θ+ and the baryon anti-decuplet, in connection with the known experimental information. Our recent studies are summarized below.
