This page contains some very preliminary K+ results from the Compton Backscattering gamma spectroscopy beamline (BL33LEP) at spring8. The plots are mainly for reference for the LEPS group members. These figures were made using version 3.0 of the LEPSana code.

The following plot shows the missing mass spectrum for the p(gamma,K+) reaction.

Next is the center-of-mass angle distribution of the K+, gated on the Lambda(1116) respectively the Sigma(1193) in the missing mass spectrum.

For the case of K+ production and gating on the Lambda in the missing mass plot, the azimuthal angle is plotted versus the center-of-mass scattering angle. For theta(c.o.m)>0.4 rad only part of 2*pi is covered in azimuthal direction.
