RCNP計算機室が管理運用するプリンタの利用案内です。
This page provides instructions for the printers managed and operated by the RCNP CN Group.

プリンタ設置場所 / Printer Locations

上記のリンクから、プリンタの設置場所、プリンタ名（ホスト名）、機種、プリンタの状態等を確認できます。

プリンタトラブル時の対応 / Handling Printer Troubles

• ユーザーが対処できないトラブル発生時は、計算機室に連絡してください。
• ただし、包括契約のプリンタ・複合機については、機器に貼付してある連絡カードの情報を元にサポートセンターに連絡してユーザー自身で対処して頂いても構いません。（包括契約ではサポート料金が追加で発生する事はありません。）
  【自身で対応される場合は以下を遵守してください。】
  • サポートセンターから連絡先を確認されるので、自身の連絡先を伝え、責任を持って修理の立会い等の対応をしてください。
  • 登録されている連絡先と異なるため、連絡先情報を変更」と尋ねられた際は、「今回限りの担当であるため、登録連絡先の変更は不要である」旨を伝えてください。

プリンタ消耗品の交換 / Replacing Printer Consumables

トナー切れ（インク切れ）、トナーカートリッジの交換シグナル、用紙切れ等が発生した場合は、プリンタ消耗品置き場にある予備品と交換してください。
If you encounter empty toner (or ink), a toner cartridge replacement signal, or run out of paper, please replace them with the spare supplies located in the printer consumables storage area.

プリンタドライバの取得 / Getting Printer Drivers

1. 「プリンタ設置場所」で、使用したいプリンタの機種名を確認してください。
2. 確認した機種名に対応するプリンタドライバを、以下のメーカーサイトよりダウンロードしてください。
   • Apeos C2570, C5570の場合はこちら
   • DocuPrint C3540の場合はこちら（注：リンク先は汎用ドライバ「Multi-model Print Driver 2」です。Windows用のみ提供されています）
   • DocuPrint C4000 dの場合はこちら
   • DocuPrint C4150 dの場合はこちら

1. Check the model name of the printer you want to use on the "Printer Locations" page.
2. Download the corresponding printer driver for your model from the manufacturer's website below:
   • For Apeos C2570, C5570 click here.
   • For DocuPrint C3540, click here. (Note: The link is for the generic driver "Multi-model Print Driver 2", available for Windows only.)
   • For DocuPrint C4000 d, click here.
   • For DocuPrint C4150 d, click here.

プリンタ設定のベストプラクティス / Best Practices for Printer Setup

注意事項 / Important Notes

• 設定を行うPCや端末は、「GPネットワーク」または「RCNP内のeduroam」に正常に接続され、通信できる状態である必要があります。
• 設定を始める前に、「プリンタ設置場所」ページで、対象となるプリンタの「状況」を確認してください。対象プリンタの状態確認ページが正常に表示されない場合、設定が失敗する可能性が高いです。
• プリンタが正常に動作しない場合は、まず、使用しているドライバが対象機種のものと一致しているかご確認ください。対象機種の最新ドライバをインストールすること勧めます。

• The PC or device you are configuring must be successfully connected to either the "GP Network" or "eduroam within RCNP" with an active network connection.
• Before starting the setup, please check the "Status" of the target printer on the "Printer Locations" page. If the status page of the target printer does not display correctly, the setup is highly likely to fail.
• If the printer does not operate as expected, please first verify that the correct driver for your specific model is installed. We recommend installing the latest driver available for that model.

Windows

1. 「プリンタ設置場所」ページで、使用したいプリンタのプリンタ名（ホスト名）と機種名を確認してください。
2. 「プリンタドライバの取得」のリンク先から、プリンタドライバをダウンロードしてPCにインストールしてください。
   ※インストールするPCのWindows OSバージョンに対応したドライバを選択してダウンロードしてください。

【補足：Apeos C2570, C5570、DocuPrint C4000 d, C4150 dの場合】

• ダウンロードしたプリンタドライバファイルを実行するとインストーラが起動しますので、画面の指示に従ってインストールしてください。
• 「接続方法の選択」では、「ネットワーク接続」を選択します。プリンタの自動検索が開始されますが、「プリンターが見つかりませんでした。」のポップアップが表示されるまで待機してください。
• ※検索に該当したプリンタの候補が表示される場合もありますが、それらは無視してください。
• 「手動でプリンターを追加」を選択します。
  • 「機種名」は、使用したいプリンタの機種と合致するものを選択してください。
  • 「ポート種類」は「TCP/IP」を選択してください。
  • 「IPアドレス」にホスト名.rcnp.osaka-u.ac.jp（例：H2C2570.rcnp.osaka-u.ac.jp）を入力してください。
• 設定したプリンタを選択して「次へ」をクリックし、「インストール」をクリックします（通常使うプリンターに設定しない場合は、該当項目のチェックを外してください）。

【補足：DocuPrint C3540の場合】

• ダウンロードしたプリンタドライバファイルを実行（ダブルクリック）するとファイルが解凍されます。解凍後のフォルダ内にある「Readme_Japanese」を参照してインストールを行ってください。
• 「設定」＞「Bluetoothとデバイス」＞「プリンターとスキャナー」を開き、「デバイスの追加」から「手動で追加」（または「新しいデバイスの追加」）を選択します。
• 「プリンターの追加」ウィンドウで以下の設定を行います：
  • 「IPアドレスまたはホスト名を使ってプリンターを追加する」を選択します。
  • 「デバイスの種類」は「TCP/IP デバイス」を選択します。
  • 「ホスト名またはIPアドレス」にホスト名.rcnp.osaka-u.ac.jp（例：H2C2570.rcnp.osaka-u.ac.jp）を入力します。
  • 「プリンタードライバーのインストール」画面で「ディスク使用」をクリックします。
  • 「参照」をクリックし、解凍したプリンタドライバのフォルダ内にある「ff6daie.inf」ファイルを開いて「OK」をクリックします。
  • 「FF Multi-model Print Driver 2」を選択します。
  • 「このプリンターを共有しない」を選択します。

1. Check the Printer Name (Hostname) and Model of the printer you want to use on the "Printer Locations" page.
2. Download the printer driver from the link in "Obtaining Printer Drivers" and install it on your PC.
   * Please select and download the driver that corresponds to the Windows OS version of your PC.

[Notes: For Apeos C2570, C5570 and DocuPrint C4000 d, C4150 d]

• Run the downloaded printer driver file to launch the installer, and follow the on-screen instructions to install.
• In "Select Connection Method", select "Network connection". The automatic printer search will begin; wait until the "Printer not found" pop-up appears.
• * Note: Some candidate printers may appear during the search, but please ignore them.
• Select "Add a printer manually".
  • For "Model Name", select the one that matches the printer you want to use.
  • For "Port Type", select "TCP/IP".
  • Enter hostname.rcnp.osaka-u.ac.jp (e.g., H2C2570.rcnp.osaka-u.ac.jp) in the "IP Address" field.
• Select the configured printer, click "Next", and then click "Install" (uncheck the box for "Set as the default printer" if you do not want to use it as your default).

[Notes: For DocuPrint C3540]

• Double-click the downloaded printer driver file to extract it. Refer to the "Readme_Japanese" file in the extracted folder to proceed with the installation.
• Go to "Settings" > "Bluetooth & devices" > "Printers & scanners", click "Add device", and then select "Add manually".
• In the "Add Printer" window, configure the following:
  • Select "Add a printer using an IP address or hostname".
  • Select "TCP/IP Device" for the "Device type".
  • Enter hostname.rcnp.osaka-u.ac.jp (e.g., H2C2570.rcnp.osaka-u.ac.jp) in the "Hostname or IP address" field.
  • On the "Install the printer driver" screen, click "Have Disk...".
  • Click "Browse...", open the "ff6daie.inf" file located in the extracted printer driver folder, and click "OK".
  • Select "FF Multi-model Print Driver 2".
  • Select "Do not share this printer".

macOS

1. 「プリンタ設置場所」ページで、使用したいプリンタのプリンタ名（ホスト名）と機種名を確認してください。
2. Macユーザガイドを参考に設定してください。（表示言語は、リンク先ページの右下にある国・地域の設定から変更できます。）

【補足】

• 「プリンタ、スキャナ、またはファックスを追加する」をクリック後、地球儀マークの「IP」（IPアドレスを指定してネットワークプリンタを追加する）を選択してください。
• 「アドレス」に「(ホスト名).rcnp.osaka-u.ac.jp」を入力してください。
• 「プロトコル」は、Apeosプリンタの場合は「AirPrint」、Docuprintプリンタの場合は「LPD (Line Printer Daemon)」を選択してください。
• ※Apeosプリンタで「AirPrint」を選択すると、メーカーのプリンタドライバが自動的に適用されます。
• ※Docuprintプリンタで「LPD (Line Printer Daemon)」を選択する場合は、「プリンタドライバの取得」よりメーカーのサイトからダウンロード・インストールしたPPDファイルを使用するか、macOS標準の「一般的なPostScriptプリンタ」を使用してください。ただし、「一般的なPostScriptプリンタ」を使用した場合は、プリンタの機能が一部制限される可能性があります。

1. Check the Printer Name (Hostname) and Model of the printer you want to use on the "Printer Locations" page.
2. Please refer to the Mac User Guide for setup instructions. (You can change the display language from the country/region settings at the bottom right of the linked page.)

[Notes]

• Click "Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax...", then select the "IP" (globe icon) tab to add a network printer by specifying its IP address.
• Enter (hostname).rcnp.osaka-u.ac.jp in the "Address" field.
• For the "Protocol", select "AirPrint" for Apeos printers, and "Line Printer Daemon - LPD" for Docuprint printers.
• * When you select "AirPrint" for an Apeos printer, the manufacturer's printer driver will be applied automatically.
• * When selecting "Line Printer Daemon - LPD" for a Docuprint printer, please use the PPD file downloaded and installed from the manufacturer's website (see "Getting Printer Drivers"), or use the standard macOS driver "Generic PostScript Printer". Please note that if you use the "Generic PostScript Printer" driver, some printer functions may not be fully available.

ポスタープリンタの利用方法 / Poster Printer Setup

本館6階で、ポスタープリンタ（EPSON SC-T5250、プリンタホスト名：H6T5250）が利用できます。
A poster printer (EPSON SC-T5250, Printer Hostname: H6T5250) is available on the 6th floor of the Main Building.

利用上の注意 / Usage Notes

• 印刷ミスやトラブルを放置すると他の利用者の迷惑になりますので、プリント結果は出来るだけ早く確認して下さい。
• 失敗した用紙等はプリンタの所に放置せずに利用者の手で処分して下さい。
• 対応OSはWindows、macOSのみです。Linuxからは印刷できません。
• ポスタープリンタへのPostScript出力のためのポストスクリプトサーバーを運用は終了しましたので、Psotscriptアプリケーションからの印刷はできません。

• Please check your print results as soon as possible. Leaving print errors or paper jams unattended will cause inconvenience to other users.
• Do not leave misprinted or failed paper around the printer; please dispose of it yourself.
• Supported operating systems are Windows and macOS only. Printing from Linux is not supported.
• The operation of the PostScript server for the poster printer has ended. Therefore, printing from PostScript applications is no longer possible.

使用できる用紙 / Available Paper

• 使用できる最大の用紙サイズはA0ノビ（巾 914 mm）です。
• このプリンタ用にはA0ノビの用紙を用意してあります。
  • 学会用ポスターなど多くのポスターのサイズはA0ノビです。
  • 他のサイズや上質紙などは各自、各研究室等でご用意ください。

• The maximum paper size supported is A0 Plus (Width 914 mm).
• A0 Plus paper is provided for this printer.
  • A0 Plus is the standard size for most posters, including those for academic conferences.
  • Please provide your own paper if you require other sizes or specific high-quality paper.

設定方法 / Setup Instruction

注意事項 / Important Notes

• 設定を行うPCや端末は、「GPネットワーク」または「RCNP内のeduroam」に正常に接続され、通信できる状態である必要があります。
• 設定を始める前に、「プリンタ設置場所」ページで、対象となるプリンタの「状況」を確認してください。対象プリンタの状態確認ページが正常に表示されない場合、設定が失敗する可能性が高いです。
• プリンタが正常に動作しない場合は、まず、使用しているドライバが対象機種のものと一致しているかご確認ください。対象機種の最新ドライバをインストールすること勧めます。

• The PC or device you are configuring must be successfully connected to either the "GP Network" or "eduroam within RCNP" with an active network connection.
• Before starting the setup, please check the "Status" of the target printer on the "Printer Locations" page. If the status page of the target printer does not display correctly, the setup is highly likely to fail.
• If the printer does not operate as expected, please first verify that the correct driver for your specific model is installed. We recommend installing the latest driver available for that model.

Windows

1. EPSONのサイトから、プリンタドライバをダウンロードしてPC端末にインストール
   ※インストール先のPC端末のWindowsOSのバージョンに対応したドライバを選択してダウンロードしてください。
   • プリンタ機種は「EPSON SC-T5200 Series」を選択。
   • プリンタ検索の段階で、「ネットワーク接続」を選択してください。その後、プリンタ自動検索が開始されますが、「プリンターが見つかりませんでした。」のポップアップ表示がでるまで待機。
   • 「手動設定」を選択し、例えば「nul:ローカルポート」を選択。
2. ポスタープリンタ使用設定(Windows11の前提)
   • 「設定」> 「Bluetoothとデバイス」> 「プリンターとスキャナー」で、ドライバインストール後追加されている「EPSON SC-T5200 Series」をクリックし、「プリンターのプロパティ」を選択。
   • 表示されるポップアップウィンドウにて「ポート」タブを選択。「ポートの追加」から「Standard TCP/IP Port」を選択後、「新しいポート」を選択。
   • 「標準 TCP/IP プリンターポートの追加ウィザードの開始」画面で「次へ」を押下。「プリンター名またはIPアドレス」に「h6t5250.rcnp.osaka-u.ac.jp」 を入力。

1. Download the printer driver from the EPSON website and install it on your PC.
   * Please select and download the driver that corresponds to the Windows OS version of your PC.
   • Select "EPSON SC-T5200 Series" as the printer model.
   • At the printer search step, select "Network connection". Wait for the automatic search to finish until the "Printer not found" pop-up appears.
   • Select "Manual setup" and choose, for example, "nul: Local Port".
2. Poster Printer Configuration (Assuming Windows 11):
   • Go to "Settings" > "Bluetooth & devices" > "Printers & scanners". Click on the "EPSON SC-T5200 Series" added after installing the driver, and then select "Printer properties".
   • In the pop-up window, select the "Ports" tab. Click "Add Port...", select "Standard TCP/IP Port", and click "New Port...".
   • In the "Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port Wizard" screen, click "Next". Enter "h6t5250.rcnp.osaka-u.ac.jp" in the "Printer Name or IP Address" field.
