User Management System Transition ユーザー管理システムの移行

概要

RCNPでは2020年8月末で現行の原子核物理学計算機システム(いわゆるmiho及び、バッチ、ストレージ等のシステム)の運用を終了し、新計算機システムに移行します。それに伴い、計算機・ネットワーク利用者のアカウント情報を管理する「ユーザー管理システム」も新システムに移行します。
計算機システムの移行に先立ち、現「ユーザー管理システム」の運用を7月末で終了しました。アカウント情報の新システムへの移行後、8月12日より一部の機能から新ユーザー管理システムの運用を開始しました。
アカウント情報に基づき、ユーザー認証を行う「認証サーバー」は、この移行期間中現行システムと新システムが並行して稼働します。どちらの認証サーバーがユーザー認証に使用されるのかは、利用するシステムによって異なります。詳細は以下のスケジュールをご覧ください。

Outline

The Nuclear Physics Computing system at RCNP (so-called miho, batch, storage, and other related servers) will be replaced at the end of August 2020. Accordingly, the user management system, which manages the account information of the computer and network users, will be replaced with a new one. In advance to the computing system, the current user management system was closed to users at the end of July 2020. The new user management system is partially opened from August 12. Based on the account information, user authentication is provided by the authentication servers. During the system transition period, the current and new authentication servers will work in parallel. Depending on the service, one of them will be used for the authorization.

現状とスケジュール

7/30 現行ユーザー管理システムのユーザーによる操作を停止しました。以降、現行ユーザー管理システムによる以下の操作は利用できません。

• 新規ユーザー申請
• 登録ユーザー情報の編集
• 新規グループアカウントの申請
• グループアカウントの管理機能
• コンタクトパーソン機能
• パスワード再設定

8/1-8/2 アカウント情報の移行完了

8/12-8/25 新ユーザー管理システムの試験運用を行います。以下の機能を提供します。

• 新ユーザー管理システムでのパスワード再設定
  • 新ユーザー管理システムを利用を開始するために必要な操作です。
  • 現行ユーザー管理システム上のパスワードには影響しません。
  • 現行計算機システム(miho他)は、8月末の運用終了まで現行ユーザー管理システムのパスワードで認証します。
• 新ユーザー管理システム上の登録情報の閲覧・編集
  • 登録情報を確認いただき、移行したアカウント情報に問題がある場合にはお知らせください。
  • コンタクトパーソン情報は現時点では空白となっています。アカウントの新規申請時と年度更新時に入力をお願いする予定です。
• 新計算機システム(saho他)のテスト運用開始(開始日は別途アナウンスします)
  • 新計算機システムへのログインは新ユーザー管理システムのパスワードで認証します。

8/26 ネットワーク、メール、wwwの認証先の切り替え作業を行います。新ユーザー管理システムの本運用を開始します。

• 以下のシステムは新ユーザー管理システムで設定したパスワードで認証します。
  • 無線LAN
  • RCNPアカウントによるeduroamの利用
  • VPNサービス
  • メール(受信、送信時の認証)
  • wwwサーバーへのログイン
  • RCNPアカウントを利用したwwwコンテンツのアクセス制限
• 新ユーザー管理システムの本運用
  • 新規ユーザーアカウントの申請
  • アカウント情報の編集

8/28 17:00 現行計算機システム(miho)運用終了。

9/1新計算機システム(saho)の運用開始。

• Viewing and editing the account information transferred to the new system.
  • If the information is wrong, please let us know.
  • Currently, the "contact person" information is empty. We will ask you to fill it for when an account is newly applied or renewed.
• Test release of the new computing system (saho). We will announce the exact opening date later.
  • The new computing system (saho) uses the password set on the new user management system.

August 26 New authentication server for the network, mail, and www services. Rollout of the new user management system.

• The following system uses the new authentication servers (new password).
  • Wi-Fi network
  • eduroam (by RCNP account)
  • VPN service
  • Mail (receiving and sending)
  • Login to the www server
  • Access control for the www contents with the RCNP account
• Rollout of the new user management system.
  • Application for a new account.
  • Updating the user information
