Transportation to RCNP †

A. From SENRI-CHUO station (Subway MIDOSUJI line) †

• a) by Monorail
  • 10 min walk north from Handai Byoin Mae Station on the Osaka Monorail.
  • ＊If you walk from the monorail station, please follow the long, red dashed line shown on the map below without entering the campus immediately.
  • Walk along the left hand side (the figure shows the right hand side!) of the 2 lane road for about 10 min (maybe less). Immediately after a small pond on the left hand side (in Univ. Campus), you will find a small North gate only for pedestrians. Entering from that gate, on the right hand side you will find an RCNP complex.

• b) by HANKYU Bus
  • Take the Hankyu Bus at Senri-Chuo station No.6 bus stop.
  • The bus numbers to "Handai Honbu Mae" (meaning Osaka University Headquarters) are No.100,164,105,108,103. (See Time Table.)
  • It costs 210 yen.
  • Get off the bus at "Handai Honbu Mae."
  • RCNP is 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

• c) by taxi
  • It takes about 20 minutes.

B. From KITASENRI station (Hankyu-railway SENRI line) †

• a) by taxi
  • It takes about 15 minutes. It will cost about 2000 yen.

• b) on foot
  • It takes about 20 minutes.

C. From JR IBARAKI station (JR TOKAIDO line) or From Hankyu IBARAKI station (Hankyu KYOTO line) †

• a) by KINTETSU bus
  • Take the Kintetsu Bus at bus stop of JR Ibaraki station or Hankyu Ibaraki station.
  • It costs 210 yen.
  • Get off the bus at "Handai Honbu Mae."
  • RCNP is 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

D. From OSAKA Airport (ITAMI) †

• a) by Osaka Monorail
  • Take the MONO-RAIL and change at Banpaku-Kinen-Kouen (EXPO Memorial Park) and get off at Handai-Byouin-Mae (Osaka University Hospital).
  • It costs 380 yen.

• b) by Osaka Monorail + Hankyu Bus
  • Take the MONO-RAIL and get off at SENRI-CHUO station.
  • It takes 13 minutes and costs 290 yen.
  • Then, take the Hankyu Bus. (See A.)

• c) by taxi
  • It takes about 30 minutes and costs about 4000 yen.

E. From KANSAI International Airport (KIX) †

• a) Take JR Express "HARUKA" (JR line) from the Kansai Airport station and get off at the SHIN-OSAKA station. (It takes about 45 minutes.)
  • Then, get on the Subway (MIDOSUJI line) and get off at SENRI-CHUO station. (It takes 15 minutes.)
  • Then, follow A.

• b) Take NANKAI Express "RAPITO" (NANKAI line) from the Kansai Airport station and get off at the terminal station "NAMBA." (It takes 30 minutes.)
  • Then, get on the Subway (MIDOSUJI line) and get off at SENRI-CHUO station. (It takes 30 minutes.)
  • Then, follow A.

• c) Go to the OSAKA Airport (ITAMI) by a Suttle Bus. It takes 1700 yen.
  • Then, follow D.

F. From SHIN-KAN-SEN (JR Super Express) SHIN-OSAKA station †

• a) by taxi
  • It takes about 25 minutes and costs about 3000 yen.

• b) by Subway (MIDOSUJI line)
  • Get on the Subway (MIDOSUJI line) and get off at SENRI-CHUO station. (It takes 15 minutes.)
  • Then, follow A.

G. From OSAKA University TOYONAKA Campus †

• a) by Osaka Monorail
  • Get on the Mono-Rail bound for KADOMA at the SHIBAHARA station, and change at the BANPAKU-KINEN-KOEN (EXPO MEMORIAL PARK) station.
  • Get off at HANDAI-BYOIN-MAE (OSAKA UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL) station.
  • It costs 320 yen.
  • RCNP is 10-minute walk from the monorail station.
• b) by Osaka Monorail + Bus
  • Get on the Mono-Rail bound for KADOMA at the SHIBAHARA station, and get off at the SENRI-CHUO station.
