Presentation and PC

Allocation time

The allocated time for your talk includes 5 minutes for question/discussion. Because symposium schedule is tight, each talk must not exceed the allocated time.

Presentation of Talks

Overhead projectors and LCD projectors will be the standard media for presentations. Power point presentations by using their own note PC's will be recommended. All talks will be included in the NDM03 web pages. All speakers are kindly asked to hand in their powerpoint (pdf, postscript, jpeg) files or transparencies immediately after their talks.

PC presentation

We prepare a LCD procejtor and a PC switcher with 4 port connections. We appreciate if you come to the symposium room with your PC and connect it to the switcher during the break before your session.

Poster presentation

Date/Time:: 13th June (Friday) 16:00 - 17:30
Place:: Symposium room (Nara New Public Hall)
Size of the Panel:: 90 cm in width and 120 cm in height
Presentation:: Panels for posters are available from the morning, 10th June (Tue), through morning of 14th June (Sat). Your poster must be placed on a panel which has a title of your contribution. Poster presentations will be listed here

Network Facilities

Network interfaces (10Base-T ports with cables and WiFi wireless LAN access point) will be provided which will allow participants to connect with their own note PC's to the internet. It is recommended to bring your own wireless LAN PC-card with your PC if you want to use it. A limited number of PCs with the usual software to communicate via the internet will be available.
