-A basic plan of the informal seminar (for FY2021)
--We consider that each member will give a presentation once a fiscal year.
---New staff members and postdocs will give a presentation in April or May. This will be regarded as an informal seminar AND a theory seminar.
---M1 students are requested to report their bachelor theses/studies after the seminars of newcomers. The presentation can be in Japanese, though making a presentation in English is always welcome.
---Because the above two are an introduction of their own works, newcomers are requested to introduce a journal paper (or something like that) at the next time (next year).
---In Autumn/Winter, M2 and D3 students are requested to report the current status of their research for theses. This will not be regarded as an informal seminar, though given in the time slot of the informal seminar.
--We will a bit reduce the number of informal seminars. When we have a theory seminar. colloquium, or workshop relevant to several group members, we will skip the informal seminar.
--When the situation of COVID-19 has settled, we will reconsider our plan.
---Probably, staff members will travel to other places quite frequently then, and we will skip the informal seminar if more than one staff members are absent as before.
