Linux terminals for DAQ

Three Vine Linux terminals are available for the Data AcQuisition (DAQ) of the experiments at the Ring Cyclotron facility. These terminals support the X window system with a high resolution of 1600 x 1200, and are connected to the kakuri1 network. They are in the Ring 2F counting room.

Linux Terminals for Users

Several Linux terminals are available for users of the Ring Cyclotron facility. There are four and two Vine Linux terminals at the Ring 2F and Ring BF counting rooms, respectively. Furthermore there are two and one Linux terminals at the West and N0 experimental halls, respectively. The terminals at the counting rooms are connected to the general purpose network, while the other terminals are connected to the kakuri1 network.


Windows Terminals for Users

Several computers with the Windows operating systems (Windows 2000 or Windows XP) are available for users of the Ring Cyclotron facility. Four computers with the WindowsXP operating system are in the Ring 2F counting room, and they are connected to the general purpose network. There is another computer with the Windows NT in the West experimental hall, which is connected to the kakuri1 network.
