6th PANDORA Workshop

About the Workshop

The 6th PANDORA workshop will be held from Monday 16th to Wednesday 18th, November, 2026, at Southern Beach Hotel & Resort, in Okinawa main island, Japan

The PANDORA (Photo-Absorption of Nuclei and Decay Observation for Reactions is Astrophysics) project aims at studying photo-nuclear reactions for light nuclei below a mass of A=60 both experimentally and theoretically. The primary application of the result is for understanding the energy and mass loss process of the Ultra-High-Energy Cosmic Rays (UHECRs) in intergalactic propagation.

Worldwide researchers will get together to study the recent progress on the experimental and theoretical nuclear physics as well as UHECR observations and simulations.

The workshop follows the UTFORSK School 2026, November 2-13, 2026, at Onna Village, Okinawa, Japan.
