[Introduction Research]
My research focuses on improving the precision of proton therapy by optimizing irradiation positioning. While proton therapy effectively targets tumors, changes in tumor shape and daily setup errors can cause misalignment, reducing treatment efficacy and risking damage to healthy tissue.
To address this, I propose a PET-based proton beam visualization system for real-time monitoring. This approach minimizes uncertainties, ensuring accurate dose delivery and enhancing treatment precision. Through this research, I aim to advance safer and more effective proton therapy.
