・Self-Introduction

I’m interested in warships (particularly in World War II). So, my hobby is reading books about them and so on. My favorite warship is the Yamato class battleship, which is the largest battleship class in the world. Yamato class battleship has the powerful offensive ability by the largest caliber main battery in history and corresponding armor, so I believe Yamato class battleship is one of the destinations of the old battleship that is no longer around.

・Research
I mainly study measuring radii of unstable nuclei. The nucleus consists of protons and neutrons, and its radius is very small. However, the radius is one of the important information to study the properties of the nucleus. In particular, various experiments using RI beams are conducted recently to study unstable nuclei, as a result, we are finding the different properties of unstable nuclei from stable nuclei, including radii. I would like to measure the radius of 12Be at isomer state which is an excited state having a relatively long lifetime, and now I carry out experiments for this measurement preparation.
