I’m a foreigner student form China and have been studying in Japan for over 7 years. This is my first year in PQBA program as a pre-doctor course 1st year student, and I feel very lucky to have change communicating with researchers both in relative and different field, visiting facilities in or out of Japan. Currently I’m working on the medical applications of accelerators and beam transport line at Reach Center of Nuclear Physics (RCNP), Osaka University. Aiming to popularize particle therapy against cancers, we are developing a multi-particle therapy system with characteristics of compactness, simple mechanical moving system, variable energy and multi-particle therapy, rapid energy change, fast beam scanning and high reproducibility. With this system, we are hoping to make treatment of cancer easier, faster, cheaper, and more accurate.
