  • Railway Pass 

    • For the use of public transportation in Japan, electric money such as ICOCA is very convenient. With the card you can smoothly make connections with any major trains in the Kansai region without buying tickets each time.
    • ICOCA JR-West railway pass
      ICOCA is a contactless electric money mainly for train lines. ICOCA is operated by JR-west, but now can be used for almost all other railways as well as monorails and buses in Japan. Some shops and vending machines also accept the cards. The ICOCA cards can be purchased at ticket vending machines or ticket offices (Midori-no-madoguchi) of JR-West stations, including "JR Kansai International Airport station". It costs 2,000JPY, which includes initial charge of 1,500JPY plus 500JPY deposits. You can recharge the card at any JR-West station. The deposit can be refunded at the ticket offices of JR-West stations.

    • KANSAI ONE PASS
      is a cute version of ICOCA card for foreign visitors. You may receive discount services or special benefits at some sightseeing spots. You can purchase this card at Kasanai International airport and also at major railway stations. (Note that foreign visitors can also purchase normal ICOCA.)

  • Withdrawing money

    • You can withdraw money at Bank ATM, Japan post ATM and Convenience shops.
      If you have a credit card with withrawing money option in Japan, You can withdraw money in Japanese yen.
  • Convenience Shops

    • There are two convenience shops in Suita campus and a few shops near the campus.
      You can purchase a lunch box, hot coffee, sweets, stationaries, cosmetics, basic drugs, commodities, etc.
      There are FAX and photocopy service, printing a picture, also withdrawing money at ATM within a shop.
  • Univ.Coop shops

    • There are three Univ.Coop shops in Suita Campus
    • They have stationaries, Books and magazines,lunch boxes and drinks, sweets, batteries, Japanese sake, commodities, multicountry conpatible power plug etc,.
  • Starbucks coffee shop

    • There is a Starbucks coffee shop in Osaka University hospital.
      It opens 7:00-20:00 on Monday to Friday and 10:00-18:00 on the weekend.
  • FAQ

    • Can I visit RCNP by my car?
    • - Yes, you can. You will get a ticket at the University entrance. The fee is 200JYN per day.
