Hamadohri Environmental Radiation School
Every summer, the researchers and students visit Iitate Village and Okuma Town to have a seminar on environmental radiation.
Osaka University Co-creative Radiation Education Programme (CREPE)
This program is aiming to foster human resources capable of overviewing various aspects of natural and social sciences and integrate the advanced "knowledge" of experts in these areas for further advancement, wherein the environmental radiation seminar at Hamadohri (Fukushima Prefecture) plays an important role.
The graduate school version of the Co-Creative Radiation Education Programme (CREPE) started in 2023 as an advanced post-graduate sub-program.
Okuma Town Environmental Information Signage
The students who have participated in the Hamadohri Environmental Radiation School write explanatory texts about radiation to be posted on Okuma Town signage.

"The University of Osaka Fukushima Center" was established in Okuma-machi, Futaba-gun, Fukushima Prefecture, on August 6, 2024 as a new activity base of The University of Osaka.
