タイトル:Performance evaluation of new charged particle detector for J-PARC KOTO Experiment
アブストラクト:
Our universe is matter-dominated. To understand it, there must be new physics beyond the standard model of particle physics. The rare decay of neutral K meson is a sensitive mode to search for new physics. KOTO Experiment at the J-PARC is searching for this decay. We aim to observe the rare neutral kaon decay KL→π0νν. I was working on the development of new detector to reduce one of backgrounds. Currently, I’m working on the analysis of the data collected in 2023, and evaluated the performance of new detector.
In the presentation, I will talk about status of KL→π0νν search and the status of my work.

タイトル:Development of Muon Spin Imaging Spectroscopy
アブストラクト:
μSR (Muon Spin Relaxation/Rotation/Resonance) method is one of the most effective
methods for researches of material science, bioscience, and so on. However, the
detector set for μSR does not have spatial resolutions at all, so we can only examine
the characteristic of the overall sample. Therefore, our research group developed a new
detector set which has spatial resolution and tested it in experiments. At the seminar, I
am going to present the research overview, experiments and results we have got so far.
